Elysian Conclave is looking to recruit 1-2 each of the following classes for immediate placement in one of our two (potentially 3) Karazhan groups (both on Shade of Aran) and for Gruul's Lair:
Paladin
Mage
Druid
Priest (fearward highly desired)
Shaman
Our ideal candidate is/has:
- Level 70
- Karazhan keyed
- Wearing T3 and/or lvl 70 5-man instance blues, or better
- Keyed for at least one heroic instance (the more the better)
- Pre-xpac 40- and 20-man raid experience and/or Karazhan experience
- Ventrilo (at least the ability to listen, mic is a bonus)
- Able to farm your own raid consumables
- Able to demonstrate deep class knowledge, aggro management, crowd control, etc. as appropriate
- Able to play at the top of your ability for 3-4 hours a night on raid nights
About Us:
We raid Karazhan (main focus) and Gruul's Lair (upcoming focus) 4-5 days a week between Wednesday-Monday, Weekdays 5:30 until 8:30 or 9 server time, weekends 3:30 until 6:30 to 7 server time. Our Karazhan groups run slightly staggered schedules to best fit the availability of our members. We DKP (silent auction) all raid drops, and new members / trials are immediately eligible to earn points, bid on and win loot. Before expansion, EC was just past the halfway point in Naxxramas (8 of 15 bosses down), and expect to carry that success into the new content.

All Good Things Must Come to an End... |

Its hard to believe that over a year ago, we ventured into MC and Onyxia's lair as the Triumph Alliance. It was made up of a bunch of guilds, who at the time could not field a 40 man on their own. WoW itself was still a pretty new game, and there weren't nearly the amount of players there are today. Eventually, some guilds left the alliance, while others merged into a single guild, and Elysian Conclave was born. What was left of the alliance was EC and Z Guild, which we took to calling ECZG.
Looking back, the amount of things that we accomplished together is fairly impressive. We had some roadblocks that took a while to overcome, but we met every challenge and eventually won through. I'm confident that given the time, we would finish up Naxx as well. However, time is something we seem to have run out of...
With the onset of the expansion and the introduction of a new 25 man raid cap, the officers have decided that its time we parted ways with Z Guild for future content. Its not feasible to sustain a 25 man raid with two guilds, and being fair and even to everyone in both.
So on behalf of the officers and members of EC, I'd like to thank Z Guild for being our ally in our efforts in the past. I hope we will maintain our friendships moving forward as we try the new content blizzard gives us.
On a similar note, for the existing EC players, you will notice alot of player transitioning happening in the next few weeks. Don't let it dishearten you or cause you any concern. This is expected, as TBC offers alot of people the opportunity to join friends they couldn't in the past given the limited number of raiding guilds. The guild will remain, and we will endure and continue to be one of the leading guilds on the server.
